Medal of Honor Day 2019

Medal of Honor Day has been a day to honor the "heroism and sacrifice of Medal of Honor recipients for the United States” since President Bush signed it into effect on the 15th of November, 1990.

This day was chosen because the first six Medal of Honor recipients received their Medals on this day in 1863 for their actions during The Great Locomotive Chase.
